Header and logo

edited April 2020 in Theme support
Hello,

I have a few questions regarding the Header builder plugin.
1. For some reason the background of the sticky header cannot be changed. I want the header background to be white when I scroll down the page. How can I do it?
2. I noticed that my website logo is wrapped in a <h1> HTML tag. This is a huge SEO mistake because I already have a heading that is using the <h1> tag for my pages. How can I make it a <h2>?
3. For some reason SEOQuake tells me that I have multiple <h1> tags on the home page - and most of them are blank. I have added the tag only in a single panel. Please let me know if it is a common problem and how can I fix it?

  • 1) Just do it here:
Also, remember to check if your rows does not have color applied.
    2) Sadly, there is no option to change that.
    3) You have to check it in your content and just replace the tag in html.
    Thanks

    Hello Pablo,
    1. Fixed - thank you
    2. The tag is set somewhere so I can change it. Please provide me with a solution. Is it restricted by the theme or the Wordpress?
    3. As I said, I have not added the tags anywhere and they are blank. Can you check the link provided and guide me with instructions on how to remove them. This is really impacting my SEO in a bad way. I just checked my other webpages. They all have the same problem - 5x blank H1 tags and 5x blank H5 tags. Please don't tell me that it cannot get fixed.
  • 2) This is inside the plugins file, you cannot change it anywhere in the theme options or the plugin options
    3) Three of them is because of responsive version:
One of them is in the Revolution Slider

I'll talk about it with the DevTeam (about the Muffin Header Builder) to avoid multiplying it but it will surely not come very soon - because right now we are working about some new functionalities.
    Thanks
  • 2. Can I change the files? They need to stay fixed after updating the theme/plugin.
    3. This is impacting all of your customers in a bad way. Please proceed with fixing the bug!

  • 2) Yes, you can - but you have to use the Child Theme to save them and not to lose them while updating the theme.
    Please check this tutorial:

    3) This require the plugin to change the code inside him - it will possible to change that only with the update of the theme.
You have to wait for the plugin update, this is not possible to change with CSS or simple JS code.

    Thanks
