Build custom header

edited April 2020 in BeBuilder
Hi,

I want to build my own sticky header which should be on top of the website.
I want to place links there and it should look similar to the header provided with BeTheme.

Why am I doing this?
I have my site available in two languages and the header unfortunately is the same for both website branches.
Yes, I know there is the WPML plugin and then I can switch langue in the header, but this uses cookies which I want to avoid COMPLETELY. So the only option left is to build my own header for each of the sites respectively.

I am currently using a section with a black background and then I put 6 columns in it. The problem is that the columns are still too far in the center of the bar. I would like to create the "Home" link right where it was in the original header bar.

Here a screenshot where you can see the header bar on top with the link too far in the center:

  • Hello,
It's all about paddings and margins in the muffin builder.
We strongly suggest to not create headers in the Muffin Builder because you will have problems with achieving the responsive menu - the hamburger menu is solution here, but It will not be possible to insert with the Muffin Builder.

Also, if you would like to create a lot of menus to be proper on every device, you have to know that SEO status will be decreased a lot, because you will have a lot of duplicated content and google crawlers do not like it.

    Thanks
