"Load more" endless loading

I'm using the portfolio item with the following settings:

I have more then 12 photos (15 to be precise), but when I press the following button

it never loads the last three photos, I just get an endless loading animation:

How can I solve this?

    I found out that it works correctly in a portfolio page, but it doesn't work in a portfolio item.

    Another thing: it would be nice to have "Load more" also for the "Random" sort.

    Please disable all of the plugins, clear the cache of your browser and check if the issue still exists.

    Done, the problem still persist.

    Anyway now I switched to the portfolio page instead of the portfolio item, and as I said it works correctly: the only problem is that I don't know how to put an item under this type of portfolio.

    Okay, I tried again with the portfolio item and it works now: I was able to solve the problem by just deleting the entire page and re-creating it. So problem solved, thanks!
