im using a plugin to create a child theme
and it flaged this error in the be parent file

Warning:  Use of undefined constant REQUEST_URI - assumed 'REQUEST_URI' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in betheme/functions.php on line 74

is this a bug?

Hello,

Do not make a child theme with a plugin.

You are able to get the files for child theme in the same package that you downloaded from the themeforest.
