Plugins Won't Install

Hi there,

I am building my site out on a local server using XAMPP.

I just purchased and downloaded a theme and only 5 of the 8 plugins that it came with won't install.  Here are the plugins that won't install:

• BeTheme Header Builder
• Force Regenerate Thumbnails
• Layer Slider
• Slider Revolution
• WPBakery Page Builder

I was getting the follwoing error:

"Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 120 seconds exceeded in \XAMPP\htdocs\skyhighfun\wp-includes\Requests\Transport\cURL.php on line 163"

I then changed the max time in wordpress to 300 seconds.  Now I get the very same error except that it now takes 300 seconds to time out.

I have searched everywhere for a solution and don't know what to do next.  Please help.

Dear Shane,

you have issues with cURL settings on your hosting.

Unfortunatelly we cannot help you with your hosting settins. We do not have any access to it and usually we suggest to contact the hosting provider in this case.

You have to tweak the options of your hosting a little more than the basic options.
