Portfolio GRID + EXCERPT

Hello, 

I was wondering if anyone can help me please. 

I already have a portfolio page, but want to have the layout as GRID, however when I change from Masonry Blog Style to Grid the excerpt disappears. 

I have tried to edit it in the "screen options" option to guarantee 'excerpt' is selected and also in the settings-reading section, but it doesnt work.

Hello,

The excerpt field is not available to see in the "Grid" type of layout.

Sadly, this is how this layout is coded and there is no option to make it visible, because it's not even available in the html code.
