Action Button Not Working with responsive, conflict with subheader.

For some reason, when using the action bar button and going to a mobile view, the button falls below but it mashes into the sub header. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I figured it out, it was because I had assigned a max-height to the header in the custom css (not sure why i did this).
