Custom Post Types with Sidebars

I have seen similar questions on the forums, but have not yet seen a simple solution. I have a site with plugins that create custom post types such as Learn Dash and Event Espresso. At this point there is no way to call sidebars for these posts. I have tried to create a template, but that doesn't seem to do the trick because I need to set the sidebars in the meta options which are not accessible. Is there a simple way to just add the sidebar options to these custom post styles? Is there a small amount of code that can be added to the functions file that would allow this?

Hi,

unfortunately pages created automatically by plugins does not work with custom sidebars. Each plugin is different and it is not possible to use custom sidebars for them.

Can this be reconsidered? It's causing me huge grief with LearnDash which works fine with almost every other theme I throw at it, just not the Muffin Builder stuff.  There must be a way to do some custom CSS to enable sidebars for the custom post type.  I have even tried using Custom Awaare Sidebars which normally works great and has built in support for LearnDash, but for some reason the BeTheme is overwriting any attempt to add sidebars to the posts.

There must be a way to fix this???
