modify color of the contact section

Hello, 

we would like to modify the color of the contact section
from the standard gold to another one, but we are not sure how to do it.

The
CSS seems to be the following but if I modify in the css customization
section nothing happens (in a way it makes sense because element.style
is very generic...)

You can change the contact box background in the Theme Options > Colors > Shortcodes
