Cannot Deregister Old License

Hi there,

I cannot deregister an old license key to replace with a new one on a client's site. We inherited the site from another company and purchased a new key to have ownership of the site.

When I click deregister, I am told "This feature is disabled in white label mode." However, there is no white label code in our functions.php that would either enable or disable white label mode as according to BeTheme's documentation.

Please help with this! I've directly emailed through the Muffin Group contact on ThemeForest and I tried getting this resolved in the comments on the theme listing when I first purchased the theme. I also need to be able to deregister so I can move domains.

Hi there,

I can't use that tool because I don't have access to the old license key nor the username that was used to purchase it, and I can't log in with my new license key nor my username because it has not been registered yet. Please advise.

Do you have any access for the themeforest profile?

We are not able to receive the license key because we do not handle with them, it's all the envato/themeforest case.

No, the license key and the themeforest account were both property of the previous agency that built the website, so I have no access to the old themeforest account. 

I need help disabling white label mode. I don't know how it is enabled since, as I said, there's no HTML script for false or true white label. Please assist. Thanks

If it's not in functions.php file inside the theme directory, then we have no clue where it could be, because this is the only place where it should be pasted.

In other case, you should contact your previous webdeveloper or search for that using bulk search option in your IDE.

I cannot contact the previous web developer, how can I search for it using bulk search option in IDE? What is an IDE?

Please let me know if there's a way you can look into this issue in my admin panel as well. I am a designer, not a developer so it's beyond my scope of knowledge.

IDE is an integrated development environment which is simply a software where you can edit the code.

VSC example: https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/editor/codebasics/#_search-and-replace

Well, we strongly suggest to contact some webdeveloper to get it done.

We are not sure what customizations were made there and we are worried that we will issue your code.

If I do the IDE search myself, how do I get my code into the program to search it?

You have to search for the documentation of the IDE you are using, but usually you can find the tab named "Search in files" on one of the dropdowns in the toolbar of the software.
