Which archive page use custom post types?

Hey there,

In my child theme's function.php I registered a new custom post type. Now I wanted to set up templates for this post type with single-[post-type].php and archive-[post-type].php. So far that works. I just don't know where I can finde the standard archive page of the CPT in order to copy and edit the code as I want it to be. Can you tell me which template the CPT uses by default to display all posts?

Well, this looks like a portfolio page though. I'd like to have the template of the blog page with the small media on the left, the title and teaser and more button on the right hand side...

Did you checked includes/ folder where templates responsible for some pages are? Maybe this is what you are looking for. Whole html is under those files but for layout, css files are responsible.

Yes. All I want to know is. Which template is used on the standard blog page:

(The heading is a picture section, but I would like to know the template for the filter section and the blog post section)
