Gallery Lightbox inside of Accordion

Hello, is it possible to have a gallery with a lightbox inside of an accordion item? When I add the code ([gallery link="file" ids="124,123,121"]), it doesn't show a lightbox like it normally does within columns, instead it links to the media page. 

I setup a demo page, with an two gallery shortcodes. One within the wordpress editor, and one within an accordion.

items inside items could not work due to JS coding issues. Please do not use galleries in accordions. This item was created to have mostly text.
