  • Hello,
the child theme version does not matter.
Please update the parent theme to the newest version, then switch to the parent theme and check if the issue is resolved.
    thanks
  • Thanks. Im using version 10.9. How can I find the update?
It doesnt show on the wordpress dashboard that an update is available.

  • Oh boy, you will have some issues regarding such an old theme. It is almost 6 years old.
The only sollution to update a theme old like this is to remove it from the FTP theme folder and replace it with the newest version of the theme - after that you will be able to update from the dashboard.
    What I would do:

    1. Create a copy of your website
    2. Go to the copied version and disable all plugins
    3. Update the theme by replacing files and update the theme and plugins as well ( very important)
    4. See if everything works fine, if it does, enable the plugins and check again.

I would not try this on such an old theme directly, so please do this on a copy so you are 100% sure nothing will go wrong.
After a big update please also clear your browser cache, some CSS rules may still be saved there.
    thanks
