How to disable to diplay the same post twice in different

Hi there,

I run a new site. The current template knows that (if you put different widgets from up to down on the site, but all displays posts) that no posts displayed twice.

For example the first item on my home page is a Blog item with 8 posts. After I want to put a gallery modul with ads. After it I want to continue the new posts with a Blog item.

Now the second blog item starts again the fedd of the news, insted of skip the first 8 article, and continues with the 9th post. Is it possibile to force somehow the theme/item to skip the first 8 posts?

Hey,

sorry but there is no sollution to do this. You would have to code it into the theme.

You can make a separate category for those posts you do not wish to display and exclude them only.

But a rule that 8 first posts are not displayed is not possible.
