Editing Blog Timeline Shortcode

Where would I go in the back end files to edit the php of the Blog Timeline.. I tried shortcodes.php but couldn't find it

index.php file is responsible for blog page but we do not recommend to do any modifications because you won't be able to do theme updates in the future.
