The Events Calendar

When I am pulling in The Events Calendar into a blog feed, I use the following settings: 

Category: All

Order by: Date

Order: Descending

Include Events: YES

If there are some events that I do not want to show in the blog feed and I add category slugs to try and define the feed, the blog feed does not adhere to the slugs that are specified. Is there any way to just have certain categories show for The Event Calendar in blogs given that Category must be set to ALL?

Hello,

Sadly, there is no other way to choose categories in the events calendar than in "Category" dropdown menu, the "multiple categories" is made for the blog purpose.

It's clearly stated near the option to turn on the events in blog feed, that it requires the "ALL" category enabled.

Yes, I thought so. Thank you, Pablo. Does the exclude post ID feature work, or is that also overridden by the Category ALL?

It will work, but only for the blog posts, not the calendar events.
