Can I add a picture next to an sub-item in a menu?

Isn't the Mega menu only for the "main" sites and not for the sub-items?

What do you mean by "sub-items"?

You can insert any menu-item there, any page that exists in your wordpress

I mean pages that are just like the the sample products in the list above. You can only see them when you hover over "products". My question was, if I can put an image next to the text "sample product" ?

Of course you can insert the image, but it will be as an background menu of the mega menu, see the screen:
