BeTheme in conflict with codemirror library

Hello,

I use Betheme in combination with the plugin Essential Grid from ThemePunch on my website https://www.gamereleases.eu Unfortunately the backend of this plugin isn't working anymore and I asked for support at ThemePunch. They say ​it looks like the issue is with BeTheme that is in conflict with codemirror library. I think this issue appeared when Wordpress automatically updated to 5.5.1.

When looking in Chrome to the console this error appears: https://ibb.co/RNNm6VC

And when switching to the default Wordpress theme Twenty Twenty the backend of the plugin works again.

I already updated Betheme to 21.8.5.1 but this didn't resolve the issue.

Hope you can help resolve this issue.

Sorry, but we did not test this script/plugin with the theme. Our policy states that we do not support third party plugins or custom code so unfortunately, we cannot be of any help to you.

I'm sorry, but that's a bit harsh.

Essential Grid is a major plugin used by a lot of of people. Together wit the developer of this plugin I pointed out what the issue may be. It would be fitting if you can help me solve this issue.

Well, we do not know how this plugin works, so resolving the issue without knowledge which functions and how it uses them, will be really pointless.

For now, what we can suggest is to add suggestion for adding "Essential Grid" plugin as a supported plugin, please do this in this topic:

If you have some tips about fixing that issue, please post it here, I'll provide that information for the developer team
