Post masonry grid page vs. archive category page

Hi,

i have a post category "Stellenausschreibung" (job offers).

i created a page on which these posts are displayed "Offene Stellen" (open jobs) and integrated it in the menu.
because i wanted to use the Item Design of WP Bakery Page Builder (with this i can integrate advanced custom fields of this posts in frontend, here: "Ausschreibung Nr. ...") i needed to create an individual page instead of using the archive of the category "Stellenausschreibung".

the problem is, if i open a post and want to go back to the overview (page "Offene Stellen") i can't find it in the breadcrumbs.
In the breadcrumbs is the category "Stellenausschreibung" listed. this is theoretically ok, but i don't have my item design on this page...

Here is a post:

do you have any idea, how i could manage to integrate the overview page ("Offene Stellen") instead of the archive of the category "Stellenausschreibung"?

Again very complicated to explain. i hope, you could follow...

Thanks a lot for all the help!

  • Hello,
Is that page(Offene) somehow related with that post?
I mean, adding it for a child in the menu structure won't give it any relationship.

You would have to create a category with name like that(Offene) and assign it or made that page(Offene) your main blog page.
    Thanks
  • Hi,

i know what you mean, this is correct. but on this way i can not use use my individually generated Post Item (WP Bakery Page Builder).

But i found a real great plugin, with which you can style almost everything 100% individually with WP Bakery Paf builder. It seems to be very mighty and enables a lot of possibilities...

With this i can style every archive page (and everything else) from the header to the footer with wpbakery page builder. And it comes with Advanced Custom Fields Pro included too!

    Thanks anyway for your help!
