I installed the BeTourist Demo.
Changed the titles (Usefull tips - Mostly visited). The change is ok in the backsite.
But when I visit the frontpage, I still can see the old titles...

Probably you use cache stuff and that's why you don't see changes.

Nope, don't use cache stuff.

Even more... when I  create a new column with a title or text, the only thing I see is an extra space without any title or text in it.

Please make a screenshot of the column with title and text and also send us url to page where you don't see changes from back-end.

Did a clean install. Downloaded a new Wordpress pack & downloaded the BeTheme from Envato.
Activated only the slider & contactform plugins ( as needed for the theme)
Titels still stay the same.
Changed them into Dutch titles & created an extra column especially for U guys.
In the backside U can see the Dutch titles & the extra column. (see image)
Frontside stays the same as the original demo.
The extra block shows the lorem ipsum text but does'nt show the title.
