Video instead of featured image

is it possible, to display a video on a blog page instead the usual featured image of the post?

Yes, you can do that by setting "Post Format" to "Video" while editing your post.

You can put your video in section "Video | HTML5" while editing your post

But sadly this video will be only visible in single post, but not in main blog page.
