Error: Revolution Slider Activation

I am using the SEO demo theme....i've tried to activate the Revolution Slider and am getting this error: 

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home1/ativotec/public_html/ativotechnologies/wp-content/plugins/revslider/inc_php/revslider_slider.class.php on line 851

Can someone help with this?

Hi,

looks like you use older version of rev slider on server where is old php version installed. So or you will update php on server or you install the recent version of rev slider.

I am updated to 8.0 of the theme....however i am still getting the error message....
Do you have any other suggestions?

We did not talked about theme update. We told you about slider update. These are 2 different updates.
