When I want to update wp bakery from 5.7 to current version it says 

Getting download link...

Malformed URL: "key"" is required

Hello,
Please, try to uninstall WP Bakery and install it again.
Also, you can do a backup using this plugin.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
You can also turn off all other plugins to be sure that they will not interupt your installation.
