Can I reuse a betheme license that was initially bought for another project that has been cancelled?

I might have found the answer by myself now:

Important! One standard license is valid only for 1 website. Running multiple websites on a single license is a copyright violation.
When moving a site from one domain to another please deregister the theme first.

So I only have to deregister it in the betheme dashboard in my Wordpress backend (/wp-admin/admin.php?page=betheme)?

By the way, for all who are reading this, I learned from another discussion here that subdomains and subfolders within the same domain can be handled with one license!

That is right, you just have to deregister your Betheme like you said, and you will be able to use it for another website.
