Issue deregistering theme & No access to original purchase code

Hi, I just took over a website from a developer group and purchased a license for it.

The problem is, I don't have contact with those developers and as far as I know, the website is now on a different server.

I don't have the purchase code they used, and I'm having trouble deregistering it. When attempting to deregister, I get the error "Please enter purchase code."

Do you have an invoice, or anything that will allow you to prove that? That would be very useful.
