Have custom post templates for specific blog posts

It would be nice if I could have the option to have different post templates for some of my posts.

Because I was to have some blog categories to have a different layout then the others.

Hello,

You can use only built-in templates for the single posts, while editing it:

We do not have any other tool to extend or add new templates in that dropdown.

You will have to edit the theme files to achieve that.
