What slider are you talking about? Some slider item or slider from Slider Revolution plugin?

By "automatically play" do you mean switching images after some period of time?

If we are not sure what is the question, we have to ask you about more details to give you proper answer, not trying and guessing what it can be.

But, in your case, please head to the Theme Options -> Global -> Sliders, there you can change the autoslide duration.
