Enter new products in the shop, but still offline

can I actually add new products to the shop without them being visible on the internet, i.e. not yet online?

Hello,

Of course it is possible to hide your product before others.

You just need to set the visibility to private in the siedbar on the right while editing your product.

purple t-shirt to "private" and it is still displayed!

Sorry, but the screenshot you sent is not working.

But can you tell me how did you test your product? Because if you open it with your dev account then it will be visible to you.

Try to open your product in incognito mode, or on other browser.
