Child Theme Header not pulling updates?

Hi there,

I keep trying to add various tracking codes to my Child Theme header.php and nothing is working... No updates are being pulled. (Specifically Google Tag Manager, but also many others...)

The only way I can load things is through this area - which is not what I want to do.

What you ask for, requires files customization what in reference to Item Support Policy is not allowed. http://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy

So if you want to modify files and don't know how, you should contact your web developer. Item Policy says:
