Enabling Search Bar On Driving Demo

I'm using the driving theme demo data, and having a tough time figuring out how to turn on the search icon in the header. Here is what I have so far: http://tinyurl.com/olez3we

I see the search code in the HTML output, but can't figure out how to make it show. In the theme options, under header, I have the "search icon" option set to default. I can't find any other options regarding the search. 

If you can please direct me how to enable the search icon to show up I would appreciate it.

Hi,

search is default wordpress widget and does not exist as html or shortcode. So the search can be used inside sidebar or footer sections where widgets are available. There is no way to use them in other places.

Alright, I registered a sidebar in the header and used the default search widget

here is what I end up with:

My goal is the hourglass search icon & functionality similar to this theme: http://themes.muffingroup.com/be/university/

Ohh, ok. We thought that you mean something else. So to do it exactly the same way as on this demo, you must activate search bar under Theme options > Header & Subheader > Extras section.

Nevermind, I switched to the Renovate demo and are working from that. I did not think the search button was going to be such a pain.
