De-registered licence key on staging site and cannot now re-register on live site
Hi there,
I have probably made a dreadful mistake here, and I am so grateful for your help.
I cloned staging site to live, then deregistered the licence key from the staging site, and went to licences manager and deregistered it there as well, but now when trying to find the licence key it doesn't show at all and I cannot make updates to the theme on the new site at all. Please can you help?
The licence manager says: The purchase code has not been used to register Betheme or the username does not match the purchase code.
I think I probably did things in the wrong order somehow. I wasn't sure about posting the purchase code on the public forum. I'll wait to hear from you.
Warm regards,
Cheryl

Hello,
Please, try to register your license key in the dashboard where you want to have Betheme activated. Check the following link, and follow the steps from there.

Thanks
Hey Phil, thanks for your quick reply.
On the Betheme dashboard it looks like it is registered, but when you try to update the theme via Wordpress theme updates, you get a failure, saying the package is empty.
Plus when I try to verify the licence nothing comes up anymore.
The message "The package could not be installed..." could mean that your license key is used on more than one domain. Please use the license manager to handle your license keys: http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/36219/cannot-register-deregister-your-license-key-use-this-tool#latest.
If you see (on our license manager) that your license key is registered on a single domain, then please disable all of the plugins and deregister that license key (through the BeTheme -> Dashboard).
After that, get into the license manager once more, if the license key is still claimed - deregister it, if it’s not, register it again on your domain (through the BeTheme -> Dashboard) and try to update your theme/plugins a couple of times (usually it pass after 2-3 attempts) - remember, all of the plugins have to be disabled.
Thanks
Hi again Phil,
Deregistered everything everywhere, and finally it recognised it.
Thanks
So everything is working fine now?
Is there anything else I could help you with?
Thanks
Yep all working, thanks for your help. Nothing else required! Take care.
