Subheader Styling

I noticed that the subheader text size is based on the "content" text size. Which is throwing off the line breaks on the subheader.

How can I change the subheader to have a different text size and font.

    I'm referring to the drop down subheaders (the ones you have to hover over the link). How can i change the text size on those. It seems the text size is based on the "conent" text size. If i change the text size on the "content" so does the subheader text size. I there a way to isolate the subheader text and change the text size for them?
