Can I use or duplicate the "blog" element in muffin builder with a new custom post type?

Trying to create both a blog and a newsroom for news articles using the same layout consistently but leveraging two different post types. Is there a way to clone the blog "element" in the muffin builder to have the same styling and features but for a different [new/custom] post type?
