Popup on mobile devices

I have a question regarding the popup shortcode. Most browser resolutions are 320x480. On mobile devices, that I've viewed it, have the popup at 500px wide in portrait view, which is wider then the screen making content unviewable unless you turn the device to landscape. Even then, there is still a little of the content from the popup missing. Is there a way to fix this.

Did you set fixed width and height for popup under Theme options > Addons & Plugins > Addons section?

No. I did not put in a width.

And there is no option for popup alone. There are settings for Pretty Photo | Options, Style, Width, Height. Is that what you are referring to? The answer would still be no. They are left blank.

Ok. So please send us url to page where you got this popup and we'll check if it is possible to make it smaller on mobile devices.

Sounds like the pretty photo is supposed to be auto width and controlled in that section you pointed out. Also, I didn't find it in the documentation of shortcodes. http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/documentation/#muffin-builder

As we see, for popup styles is not theme responsible. Instead, these styles http://my.setmore.com/css/setmorePopup.css are responsible for your popup.

Ok, i took out the plug-in and the manual code and i still get 500px width. I changed the width to a fix dimension and it works but when i leave it blank it goes to 500px. i really thought what you suggested would have worked.

2 additional discoveries...

1) Tested the theme on a different site and i get the same results with the popup.

2) On the muffingroup website with all the shortcodes, i resized the screen for 320px wide and the popup sample was turned off. works fine in desktop and tablet versions.

the width is implemented inline and so i'm guessing this is a php coding issue.

If you leave field blank, then popup uses default value what is standard behavior. And as we wrote above, to make popup responsive, you must remove http://my.setmore.com/css/setmorePopup.css because this css is responsible for what you got.

i believe that i did remove it all. Or did i miss it? I'll check again. what's the default value?

update.... i took a look at source code and there was no coding for http://my.setmore.com/css/setmorePopup.css . I have removed the plugin and the code i manually put it.

that doesn't explain how i get the same results on a different website using this theme.... there is a new update to the them involving the pretty popup. i'll update and retest. i'll be back.

update 2... the website has the latest version. theme options settings are left blank. additional code removed. Popup still is wider then the mobile screen.

New installation on a brand new website (3rd website) to test it and i get the same result. Its not the additional code from http://my.setmore.com/css/setmorePopup.css because there is not code from them, its a new site.

Can you please recheck and advise. thank you.

We have re-checked this today and we have completely no idea what could be the reason. We'll try to look on it close while future updates.
