1) You should find a button to edit the page with WPBakery at the top while editing the page.
Also, the option to edit pages with this builder should appear after hover over the page name in the All Pages panel.
2) You cannot edit the home page (and any other) because none of our demos was created with WPBakery. We use only Muffin Builder and Elementor, and it is impossible to edit content created in one builder with another.
If you would like to use WPBakery, you will have to create your pages from scratch.
