It seems portfolio doesn't work correctly

Hi, I've defined several portfolio categories to show separately in different pages using portfolio items.

The problem is that when I load the page sometimes doesn't display any project or only shows two projects.

    Thanks for your answer, finally I can fix it defining all categories inside post/blog categories and after applying into portfolio. It's a weird behavior because I expected that post/blog and portfolio categories working separately.
