De-register theme and apply new product code

I have taken over support for a site and want to deregister the old license and apply a newly purchased BeTheme product code.

I am unable to get the details of the former licensee and I can't deregister in the WordPress Dashboard.

I want to save the sites settings.

Any help you can give is appreciated.

The issue is that the Muffin Group requires both the license key and the username at the time of purchase. I have don.t have access to either. I have purchased a new code and want to update the theme. I need support to deregister for me, as I don't have the access to deregister. It's paramount that I don't lose the settings as this is a national membership website with 13000 users.

Any help that you can give is appreciated.

It looks like your theme version is cracked, we cannot help you in that case, until you will install the version which is coming from the themeforest.

Please, download the theme package from the themeforest profile, and then, using ftp just remove the whole betheme folder and paste the new one to the same location.

All of the posts, theme options are stored in the database, so you wont lose them, if you want to be more safe, please make a backup before that.
