How to adjust the vertical menu? Padding between titles and drop-down menu

Hi,

I am using a BEtheme theme on WordPress.

I am having trouble adjusting a vertical menu; I cannot find how to adjust the padding between menu tabs; and secondly, how to change the submenu look, so it opens with full height (not like on the screenshot where the background area only surrounds the submenu ietms; in other words, I would like to have the sub menu open up the same height and width as the main menu on the left.

And the third question, how to adjust the weight of the font in the drop down menu, so its uniform with the main menu font weight?
