Hi, I want my cart to be visible in the form of a sidebar popup when someone adds an item. Is there an easy way to do this or will I have to use some kind of plugin to achieve this effect?

Please add any product on this page to cart and you will see cart banner popping up on the right side. You can either close it or go to checkout.
Unfortunately, there is no option for such a popup sidebar. As a workaround, I can suggest you create a sidebar that will be visible all the time on the shop and product page.

To add your widgets to it, go to Appearance -> Widgets, and find Plugin | WooCommerce.

Thank Phil! This is not an optimal solution as I don't want people to see empty sidebar when they have nothing added to their cart. I will check if there are any plugins that help me achieve desired effect.
