Featured Image ... Thumbnail Video

Hi,

1) Is there a way that a self hosted video can be played in/as the featured thumbnail in the blog/ category/ archive, etc... page on a mobile device, without leaving the page like it does on a desktop?

2) Is there a way to put a views counter and a comment counter (clickable) next to the like counter on the blog/ category/ archive, etc... page in the original betheme demo?

Any assistance with these two matters will be greatly appreciated.

Something like this webpage. Except the views, like, and comments (counter) on the same line and clickable and be able to play self hosted videos (.mp4) on mobile like their vimeo

videos can be played on mobile without leaving the page.

Thanks for clarifying it for me.

You can put the video instead of the featured image.

Edit the post, scroll down to Post Options, and in the Media, section choose your uploaded video.

You will also need to change the Post Format to Video in Status & visibility.

Unfortunately, there is no option to show the views counter. But for the likes, go to Betheme -> Theme options -> Blog, Portfolio & Shop -> General, and choose Love Box: Show.

For the comments go to Betheme -> Theme options -> Blog, Portfolio & Shop -> Blog, and choose Comments: Show.
