Image Shortcode animate syntax

Hi,

When using the image shortcode I can't figure out the correct syntax for the animate (animate="") field. I've tried "fade", "fade-in" but they don't seem to be working.

Could you point to me to a listing of these, or tell me the correct syntax to use please.
