Hi,

I have a WooCommerce shop (https://www.sporttechs.it/), and I want that the theme search can search for product short description and SKU.

How can I achieve this result?

The search already works for the short description. Check the following screenshot:

But searching for SKU is not possible, unfortunately.

You will have to use some third-party plugin to achieve that, but I cannot recommend any plugins other than the ones we support. You can find the list on this page, in the sidebar:

Ok, I noticed that if you search only for the code, form the majority of product the result is a 404 page.

I.E: https://www.sporttechs.it/?s=94131

But searching: https://www.sporttechs.it/?s=codice:+94131 will find the result, can you explain why?

Can you also consider adding the function to search by SKU?

We are using basic WP searching, and it does not allow searching through numbers and dates.

But if you put some characters at the beginning of the number, then the search will work because it is considered a string and not a number.
