Border displayed on photo although not selected

edited October 2021 in BeBuilder

I have the following problem.

I have inserted lines as photos on the website.

I have selected that no frame should be displayed with the photo.

This also worked.

And now, all of a sudden, the frames are displayed on these photos with the lines, even though the "hide" function is selected.

How can I fix this problem?

  • Hello,

    It seems that these lines are added by your custom CSS and overwrites the settings you set.

    Please, go to Betheme -> Theme options -> Custom CSS & JS -> CSS, and check which CSS causues it.

    Thanks

  • Hello,

    in Custom CSS I've:

    /* Image frame */

    .image_frame, .wp-caption { border-color: #d4b66e ; border-width: 5px 0; padding: 5px 0; }

    Because I needed to specify border-color, width and padding.

    This worked until Friday and the border only was shown on pictures, where I selected "show".

    I didn't change anything since Friday and now it does not work any longer?

  • One more thing I noticed.

    In the help it says you can set the color of the image border under Colors - Content.

    My theme is updated to version 25.1.1 - but the setting is not shown in the Theme Options?

    1) The problem should be gone with the upcoming update.

    It will be released today.

    2) The image border color was moved to Betheme -> Theme options -> Global -> Image frame. However, it will be visible only if your border width is more than zero.

    Thanks

  • Unfortunately, the update will be delayed because of technical issues.

    Probably, it will be released tomorrow.

    Sorry for the obstacles,

    Best regards
