WooCommerce PayPal Payments

I have just installed this latest WoCommerce Paypal plugin (version 1.6.1) as the previous one we were using is now deprecated. I enabled Paypal checkout with the new one and this gave an error. Having been in touch with Woo Commerce support, we narrowed it down as follows:

The Pay with Paypal option is meant to make the standard checkout button disappear, and a Paypal button appear. In troubleshooting mode, with Betheme and all plugins disabled, this works correctly. However, with Betheme enabled, although the Paypal button appears (most of the time), the standard Checkout button does not disappear, and gives an error when clicked.

So wondering if something in the theme is not working correctly with this new plugin? Please can you advise. Everything is up to date.

Indeed it seems to be an issue related to Betheme. We will take a closer look at it.

Thanks for taking a look. The issue isn't visible unfortunately as it is a live site and I couldn't leave a broken payment option there, but let me know if you need any more info to replicate it.

Thanks for looking at it @Phil. Unfortunately, the checkout button is still showing for me. I can't leave it live but see attached screenshot. The Paypal option that is selected is the basic one offered by the new WooCommerce Paypal plugin, and while the branded Paypal button appears correctly, the checkout button doesn't disappear. Pls let me know if you need more info.

The problem is the custom CSS you are using for buttons.

It forces the button to be always visible. If you remove it, the button should disappear after selecting the Pay Pal.
