Page Title Placement Differences in Safari vs. Chrome
We have a large number of clients who use Betheme with Blogs and Woocommerce. Safari seems to be ignoring the global nav header block height, whereas Chrome accepts it and properly pushes the main page heading down below the global nav header. I haven't figured appropriate CSS to get the heading to be identical in Safari and Chrome.
As a poor workaround, we've forced it down 100 px or so using top-margin so that at least the header is not behind the logo (center) in Safari; however, it looks pretty crappy to have that 'white space' in Chrome.
Here is one example of the many clients we see experiencing this. Check the heading 'Shop' on this page in Safari vs. Chrome.
Comments
Safari on right, Chrome on left. If we remove the ~100px margin top then the shop on Safari disappears under the top nav (cropped out).
Hello,
Please, turn off all of the plugins, refresh your cache, and check if the problem persists.
Moreover, if you are using a child theme, switch to parent, and recheck it.
If this will not help, please, keep all minifying plugins off because I need to look at your website with them disabled.
Thanks
