Checkbox filter in shop sidebar

Hi, I need to create a checkbox filter in the store sidebar. As it usually is in stores.

I plan to use tags, attributes, and categories on each product that then allow filtering. But I haven't gotten a widget that does that.

Will I need to use an external plugin or is there a way to do it directly?

Could you tell me what is the best way to make this filter in the sidebar?

My current sidebar has category, attributes, and price, but I have not been able to add product tag. Also I would like it to have a check box in each element.

For checkboxes, you would have to use some external plugin, but I cannot recommend any plugins other than the ones we support. You can find the list on this page, in the sidebar:
