Not at all, you can attach the sidebar for pages too, just create custom sidebar and attach it on page as @Phil showed you, but you will have to select that sidebar in dropdown menu, right below the sidebar layout selection.
Also, we recommend to watch this video tutorial about creating sidebars, it will surely explain you, how to correctly create a sidebar in BeTheme.
Well, the category page inherits the sidebar from the main blog page, you will be able only to hide it on the post, but it will be displayed on main blog page and category.
To do that, you have to force the single posts sidebar in Theme Options -> Sidebars, by entering empty string and selecting the layout in "Single Posts" section.
Categories require a set blog page, and if it is not selected, the sidebar will not be shown.
As a workaround, you can create a regular page, name it as a category, make a sidebar for this page, follow a video tutorial, and put on that page a blog item with a particular category chosen.

Hello,
There is no option to achieve that for tags, but you can customize the sidebar for blog categories in Appearance -> Widgets.
They inherit the position from the main blog page.
Thanks
