Variation swatches disappear when Catalogue mode is enabled

Hi! As title says, I'm trying to set some variation swatches with Catalogue mode on without success. When I turn this mode off, variations come back.

Is there a simple way to fix this?

Hello,

The variations are an integral part of add to cart button, and if you turn it off the variations disappear as well.

It is hardcoded in the theme, and unfortunately, there is no option to change that.
