IE problem

Hi guys,

I know IE can be a bit difficult at times, but i never expected my layout to be totally broken.

Can you check this?

Do I have to go over every bit of CSS again for IE or does the problem lie elsewhere?

Thanks.

  • ok found it, apparently it's the old IE 31 limit on css sheet links

is there a way you guys could merge many of the css sheets, hence provide fewer references to betheme css files in the html

cause i already had to disable Layer Slider and Revolution Slider, but i can't disable Woocommerce or anything else, so a lot fewer betheme css references would be extremely welcome!
  • Hey,

we checked your site under IE already but we did not noticed anything wrong. What limits you noticed exactly? Unfortunately we can't merge many of the css sheets because this will break theme.

    Thanks!

In IE9 some pages aren't properly displayed due to the 31 css file reference limit.

As a consequence in those pages, my inline css isn't parsed.

If you can't merge many of the css sheets, can you merge some? Every one less would count.

I now had to install some more plugins for woocommerce. Eventually everyone of those plugins has its own css link reference which makes the limit is reached more easily.

Of course, this isn't an issue with IE10+, but for the small percentage of customers these people have which still use IE9, i would really appreciate it if you could reduce the css links to an absolute minimum.

The biggest problem with this issue in fact is my inline css not being parsed, as it really destroys the page.

    Thanks.
  • We'll see while future updates if this is possible but we can't guarantee that we'll be able to merge css files.
