Single page portfolio featured image is cropping

I have set the single portfolio image dimensions to half that of the original image because it was appearing too large.. I have just set to resize rather than crop but it is still doing it.

Did you install, and use the Force Regenerate Thumbnails plugin after you changed the size?

If not, please, do that.
